Thatto Heath Mountain Rescue
Is not a Mountain rescue team!
We are a group of friends who share the same interests.
Cars, motor bikes, collecting junk associated with our hobbies and keeping our children busy.
We meet when ever we attend a show, occasional days out. We all have very diverse skills and we offer our services to other members on the proviso we dont charge anything, we all offer our services for free and receive other peoples services for free in return.
Like Freecycle but giving time or skills not junk.
We have a few pages of links and places to go that we feel offer good service and value especially for families.

We all like to involve our children in our activities so we teach them to ride & drive as soon as they can reach the controls.
Its surprising how good and sensible they turn out if given the right opportunity & tuition

Most of us have children and are always looking for ways to keep them busy, but if we can educate them at the same time and make it fun, well thats a big bonus. Activity village is a fantastic site with loads of fun activities and a good resource for people in education.
This Vehicle is available for Film, promotional and TV work.

A bit more about us.
We are not all from Thatto Heath, many members live in Thatto Heath, but we also have members from other local areas and even from Yorkshire.
We all come from different backgrounds we are not just an off roading club as we attend more classic car shows than off road events, although quite a few of us belong to north west off road clubs and national off road clubs.
We are interested in many different things, 4x4s , off roading, Green Laneing, Vehicle trials, Building and restoring Classic cars and motor bikes.
Honda Monkey Bikes, some of us restore them to the original specification some make them in to high powered racing machines, some members just have them for their children to ride around.
We are all passionate about our children and are often looking for new places to take them and give them new experiences, quite a few of us have taught our children to drive as soon as their feet can touch the pedals.
Some of our vehicles have been used for film and promotion work and most are still available.
Land Rover Discovery, Land Rover Defender, Suzuki Vitara in various forms from standard, military to radically modified, Suzuki LJ jeep, Honda Mini Trail, Crazy Trail, Honda CF70, Honda Chaly, Honda Dax, Jeep, Wrangler Sport, Jeep ,Morgans 3 and 4 wheelers, Harley Davidson motor cycles, High performance Suzuki super bikes, BMW tourers, classic Hondas and BMWs some of us have over 10 vehicles and are still on the look out for more! So if you have anything unusual you want to get rid of let us know via the contact us link.
